                                  Russian Confectionery Manufacturers

                                  We at Sladoff (M) Sdn Bhd, present products made by the best manufacturers with years of experience and excellent manufacturing practices. Our mid-range and most of the chocolate candies are made by a consortium of largest confectioners called "United Confectioners". This group is comprised of 15 factories located in 11 Russian cities. The holding's sales in 2009 reached over USD1 billion. Apart from "United Confectioners" we represent premium chocolates manufactured by a small company in the Ryazan region - "Vernost Kachestvu."                                   Confectionery Concern "Babaevskiy"

                                  It’s a truly one of the oldest Russian companies. The history of it can be traced to the year 1804, when the Abrikosovs started their family business. In 1890 from a small enterprise it turned into a Russian-wide company. Today it is one of the leading companies in confectionary industry in Russia. Its aims are to provide quality and healthy products. Besides producing well known Russian chocolate brands it also constantly expands its range of goods. Babaevskiy has won numerous awards and prizes on local and international stages. Chocolate, caramel, candies, gift sets, and children gifts would live to the most coveted expectations. Babaevskiy’s products have always been praised in mass media and its merchandising network is said to be one of the most developed in Russia. Currently there are over 200 items in the company’s assortment, including chocolate, chocolate candies and sets of chocolate candies, caramel and so on.


                                  Confectionery Factory "Krasniy Oktyabr"

                                  The confectionery factory "Krasniy Oktyabr" (Red October" was founded in 1851 by a German national - Theodor Ferdinand font Einem. In 1867 the factory become known as "Einem. Partnership of steam factory for chocolate and tea cookies" and was recorded as such in the directory of "Factories and Plants of the Russian Empire." After the October revolution of 1917, the factory was nationalized a year later and given the name of "State Confectionery Factory #1, Former Einem," which later was renamed again to its present "Krasniy Oktyabr."
                                  In 1990s the factory underwent a complete revamp, when new European state-of-the-art equipment was installed with the assistance of Western European specialists. Today, it's a huge factory producing over 60 thousand tons of confectionery products per year.

                                  Confectionery Factory "Rot Front"

                                  In 1826 the Lenov family in Moscow founded a confectionery workshop, which later developed into "G.A. and E.S. Lenov Trade House." Just like other factories at that time, Lenov's business was nationalized in 1917. In 1931, after having been known as "Factory No.7" for some time, it was renamed to "Rot Front" (short for Roter Frontkampferbund - a military wing of the German communist party founded in 1920s). By 1990s, the factory was privatized and turned into a joint-stock company, one of the largest in the industry. Later, it became a part of the United Confectioners holding.
                                  The factory employs 3000 staff, produces over 50,000 tons of confectionery products every year, and has over 200 brands in its portfolio.

                                  Vernost Kachestvu Confectionery Ltd.

                                  Having been founded in 2001, Vernost Kachestvu is a fairly new player in the Russian confectionery industry, but is widely known for its products with outstanding quality. Products, offered by VK, do not contain any artificial additives but are made with only natural ingredients. Their products are positioned as "premium class" and are already enjoyed by consumers in several countries outside of Russia, including the Far East.
